Have you met our kind, bubbly and always smiling Possum’s Group Leader Lisa?
The Possums room is for children aged 6 weeks old to 12 months of age. Our wonderful educating team led by Lisa, offer endless opportunities for children to discover through their senses using sight, smell, sound, touch and taste to develop their understanding of the world.
Our Possums favourite activities include;
- Painting not only with utensils, but also their hands and feet.
- Community adventures, together enjoying a walk around our Botanic Ridge community in our friendly 6-seater pram.
- Sensory play with playdough, jelly baff, sand and water.
- Musical instruments and so much more!
During Lisa’s 9 years of early childhood experience, Lisa has worked with many different age groups, including working at Club Med in Phuket. Lisa absolutely loved her time in Thailand, many of her favourite activities included; introducing children to Thai culture and language, educating children about Thailand’s native animals such with iguanas and butterflies and interacting, caring and supporting children’s learning from all over the world. Whilst working in Thailand, Lisa met her partner Narongrit, he has been busily teaching Lisa the beautiful Thai language and Thai cooking skills.
Lisa has a strong passion for working with children, supporting their growth and encouraging children to become strong and confident individuals. Lisa enjoys building relationships with families, and ensuring our families feel connected, at ease and excited for their child’s learning journey. Lisa loves to understand each child’s unique learning style and personality, she believes this enables her to create an environment and learning experiences that will best support each child’s development and enjoyment (we couldn’t agree more). Our Inspired Educators describe Lisa as an amazing leader, calm, creative, passionate and kind.
